why we exist

We exist to call men and women to celebrate and be changed by the life, death and resurrection of Jesus. He is the Lord over all of life—not only for us but also for the world.

In the Bible we meet a God who has revealed Himself to us by becoming human. God has acted decisively in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus to rescue and restore people to Himself. Jesus lived a life without sin, died in our place to pay for our sins, and is raised from the dead and revealed to be the King over all creation. The whole story of history explains how Jesus will redeem the world for the glory of God.

God desires to change your life and transform your eternity. Believing in Him brings freedom. Belonging to His family develops friendships. And blessing His world brings fulfillment.

how we're different

At Cotton Ridge, we honor the unique and incredible way that God has made each individual. We view people as friends, not targets. We are intellectually honest with people, and we love without strings attached.

We believe that God has placed a treasure inside you. It is a dream that is unique to you, and it is our desire to help you discover and fulfill it.

This way of thinking directs everything we do at Cotton Ridge. We believe church should be less about getting people to come and more about inspiring believers to go. Instead of insulating Christians from the world with a myriad of activities held behind closed doors, we want to scatter ourselves in the world as servants and witnesses to the Lord who saves and transforms us. In short, we want to empower your destiny, not ours.

If you're looking for a spiritual family that can help you fulfill your God-given dreams, we invite you to experience Cotton Ridge.
